Dear Patients of Southern Dutchess Eye Care,
In response to doing our part to control the COVID-19 pandemic, we have reduced our in-office services to urgent eye care by appointment.
Routine eye exams have been temporarily suspended according to CDC guidelines until further notice.
Urgent eye care includes an eye infection, eye injury, sudden vision change or other concerning eye-health issues requiring immediate doctor attention. Please call our office at (845) 896-6700. Someone will answer or return your call promptly. If you are having a medical emergency, please call 911.
We remain available to handle prescription refill requests, to process contact lens orders for direct shipment, to arrange for dispensing of eyewear if needed, to reschedule your routine eye exam for a later date, or for any other questions you may have.
To order or arrange pickup of contact lenses, email: email@example.com
To order or arrange pickup of eyeglasses, email our opticians at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
For urgent eye care, CALL: (845) 896-6700.
In the event your urgent eye care need cannot be diagnosed and treated remotely, and an in-office visit is required, please be advised we have made adjustments to our operations in our diligence to provide a safe environment. Please note …
1) Patient appointments will be scheduled to allow for social distancing.
2) There will be no more than four members of our staff when you visit. This includes your eye doctor.
3) We continue to prioritize office sanitation with alcohol-based supplies, frequent hand washing, hand sanitizer, and multiple rounds of cleaning.
4) No walk-ins are being accepted.
These are very challenging times for everyone, and we are grateful for your trust in us as your eye care professionals.
Stay safe, stay well, and thank you for your understanding.
